Kandi ideas generator

Choose a vibe, occasion, bracelet type, and honest difficulty, then enter your wrist. Every result comes from a makeable base recipe with a real bead count—never an unchecked word-and-color mashup.

How this generator stays makeable

The generator first looks for a recipe that matches all four filters. If the library has no exact recipe, it returns the closest reviewed match, preserves bracelet type, never raises the requested difficulty, and lists each relaxed filter. It never turns a theoretical combination count into a claim about unique handmade designs.

How the bead count works

Wrist measurement plus a little ease gives a circumference; divide by bead diameter for beads around. Letter beads are narrower than pony beads, so the count adjusts for them. Cord stretch and knot allowance still move the total by a bead or two, which is why every result shows a range and says to count on the wrist before tying.

Cuffs start at “Easy”

An X-base cuff or a multi-stitch panel is not a first kandi. If you pick a cuff while “First kandi” is selected, the difficulty moves up and the generator tells you so, rather than pretending.

Grid recipes come with a stringing plan

Cuff and panel results include the tile, the number of repeats for your wrist, per-color bead counts, and a row-by-row list you can read while your hands are busy. Print it from the result card.
